FLIP MY LOT
Flip My Lot transforms unused, vacant lots into vibrant permaculture community spaces and parklands. By reshaping vacant lots, Flip My Lot is altering Chicago’s West side and adding value to the community, making it safer, stronger and provides healthy food to members of the community. The safety and peace given by these spaces allows for constructive conversations that empower the community. Flip My Lot has already completed several projects throughout the West side, including North Lawndale.
Stone Temple Church Garden & Stage
We partnered with North Lawndale’s Stone Temple Missionary Baptist Church to build a stage and community garden. The stage will serve as a place to host events and allow people to gather, sharing their stories and expressing their creativity.
Martin Luther king district garden
An edible garden designed by our co-founder Annamaria Leon, allowing the local community to have access to healthy food and a safe place for neighbors to gather.
